RingRing App retail communication

RingRing is an app which helps customers avail discounts in their local physical shopping space. It customises discounts per user, and also provides loyalty bonuses.
Our work for the brand is mostly in the retail space through posters, stickers, tent cards, product markers, leaflets etc. An interesting crossover of physical and digital spaces.
When the app was in its testing phase, it was meant to be used to scan physical products in the store for individualised dicsounts. This shelf marker is one of the first pieces of collateral we designed. To stand out on a cluttered shelf, we decided to print on fluorescent paper, with each item carrying its own unique QR code. A cheap and easy to execute way to create distinction.
The product markers were supported by aisle markers to introduce the app and educate customers on using it.
Further support in the form of aisle posters which featured products available on that particular aisle, along with their respective scannable codes.
Signages and door vinyl were suggested to announce and introduce the app.
As the app evolved, the code scanning action was discontinued. We now promoted availing discount by sharing a PIN received via the app.
Posters were developed to show how the discount could be availed.
Further supported by desktop tent cards
And danglers to drive the same message home.
A second wave of communication further detailed the process of availing discount through the app
Product leaflets for different stores promoted the products with discounts.
Aisle markers further aided the communication
The following is an experiment to catch attention in the crowded Indian retail space. We employed graphics which work as optical illusions- drawing in the visitors toward our core messaging. The graphics work well in the brand colours, and yet create a distinct and unforgettable messaging.
